A family home, kept generous

Cloud 9 began as a four-bedroom family house in Għajnsielem. When it was upgraded for holiday stays in 2018, the original layout and generous rooms were kept, so there's space to cook, unwind and spend time together while still having room of your own. Guests have been welcomed since 2019, and the whole house is yours for your stay.

Rooms and beds

Two floors, four bedrooms, two bathrooms and two terraces. The upper floor is reached by stairs only. Every bedroom has air conditioning for cooling and heating, a safety deposit box and a 50-inch smart TV.

Sleeps up to 9. Two double beds and four single beds sleep eight; an adult-size folding bed in Bedroom 3 sleeps a ninth guest. A baby cot is free on request.

Everything a group needs for a longer stay, from a proper kitchen to a washing machine and beach gear.

Good to know before you book

Check-in and checkout
Check-in from 10:00 AM. Checkout by 10:00 AM.
Refundable damage deposit
€200, collected separately before check-in and returned after checkout. It is not part of the online payment.
Environmental contribution
€1.50 per guest aged 18+ per night, capped at €22.50 per adult per visit. Collected separately.
Stairs
Three bedrooms and the upstairs bathroom are reached by stairs only. Bedroom 1 and Bathroom 1 are on the ground floor.
Quiet hours
We kindly ask for quiet from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Parties and events are not permitted.
Smoking and pets
No smoking indoors; smoking is welcome on both terraces. No pets.
Families
Families are welcome, and a baby cot is free on request. Keep the stairs in mind with very young children.
Parking
Use the driveway, or free parking in the street.
Lead guest and guests
The lead guest must be 18 or over. The number of overnight guests must not exceed the number booked, and visitors are not permitted.

Cloud 9 is in Għajnsielem, the village above Mġarr Harbour, where ferries from Malta arrive. Everyday essentials are close to home.

  • Restaurants, snack bars and local shops nearby

Questions guests ask

Is the whole house private?

Yes. Cloud 9 is rented as an entire property, so your group has exclusive use of the house for your stay.

Is there a bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor?

Yes. Bedroom 1 (a double) and Bathroom 1 (with a bath that can also be used as a shower) are on the ground floor. The other three bedrooms and the second bathroom are upstairs.

How do we get to Cloud 9 from the ferry?

Cloud 9 is in Għajnsielem, a few minutes from Mġarr Harbour. Our Gozo guide covers the ferries and getting around, and confirmed guests receive arrival details before their stay.

Is Cloud 9 suitable for young children?

Yes. Families are welcome and a baby cot is free on request. The upper floor is reached by stairs only, which is worth keeping in mind with very young children.

Do we need to bring towels or beach equipment?

No. Bed linen and towels are provided, and beach towels, chairs, mats and umbrellas are at the house.
